Introducing the Lockdown Library

Are you looking for a new book to read, but don't know which one? Or maybe you haven't stepped (outside and!) inside a book store in 2 months? I've struggled with that, too, so last week when I visited my brother's house (not breaking social distancing regulations), I chose "Billion Dollar Whale: The Man Who Fooled Wall Street, Hollywood and the World" from his bookshelf as my next read. I have a much better solution for you today than pilfering books from your siblings' bookshelves.

Introducing the Lockdown Library

My very clever friend and self-confessed 'quality nerd', Rebecca Bradshaw, decided that while this might be a great time time to get caught up on your reading, access might be an issue or money might be particularly tight right now. She reached out to a number of authors and thought leaders who collectively agreed that they would share the electronic version of their book, in the "Lockdown Library", for free. I am delighted to be able to contribute my book, Meaning Matters: Results Beyond the Numbers to the lockdown library! Even more so, that I can share the entire library of books with you - yes, for free - to kick off your weekend. How good is that?! Access the entire library here. Unfortunately, my book launch, planned for March, was disrupted by the very necessary social distancing and work from home measures we've had to adhere to for the better part of 2 months as a result of COVID-19. I'm therefore thrilled to be able to share Meaning Matters with you now, and proud that it sits alongside 23 other fantastic books written by some esteemed authors and experts in their field.

Pay it forward I would greatly appreciate you forwarding this email or the download link to any fabulous leading women in finance that you think could benefit from the insights and practical guidance I share in my book so they can get their own personal download - for free. Meaning Matters is written especially for women in finance and is designed to provide an insight into the leadership journey of a woman in the male dominated world of finance, the challenges they face and ways to overcome those challenges. It is very practical and includes many exercises and activities to apply at work, as well as case studies to show just how the concepts have worked in the real world! For more information about the book, or if hard copy is more your style, click here. I really encourage you to take a look at the entire library and get access to some really great reads - in addition to mine - to kick-off your weekend. They include books on delegation, communication, innovation, parenting, AFL, and a must-read written by my friends Dr Amy Silver and Alessandra Edwards called Brace for impact: Surviving and Thriving in the Pandemic Era which they wrote in 2 weeks during the current COVID-19 events.

If you think your colleagues, the members of your team or friends would find value in the books included in this library (and there's a good chance they will), please feel free to forward them this email and they can download the library here. Happy reading! This is a quality library, so get these on your virtual bookshelves. I hope you find it useful. Until next time, take care.
